Hello, My name is Ismene i have three other siblings. two of which are dead Polyneices and Eteocles (R.I.P) My sister Antigone is a strong willed person, not something i can 100% say for myself. The decrees and laws made by my uncle King Creon are not something i believe in or want to live by, but sadly i am too weak to go against the city or its king I regret many things that i have done in my life and i will forever and always love my family.

Christina Palma is the daughter of Androulla Palma. Christina and
Ismene have a lot in common. Christina's father was killed, and now
her mother is fighting for compensation. This is similar to Ismene's
situation in which her sister Antigone is fighting for her brother who
was killed.

Notes--one for each episode Prologue - Today my sister Antigone came to me with news that she was going to bury our dead brother Polyneices and she wanted me to go with her. You see, our two brothers were in a fight and ending up killing each other. Eteocles was on our unlce Creon's side, and Polyneices was on the opposing side. Therefore, Creon gave Eteocles a proper burial, but made it illegal for anyone to bury Polyneices. Antigone thought that this was unfair and decided she would bury him. I did not want any part in it and said, "Remind ourselves that we are women and as such are not made to fight with men." (Exodos, page 193) However, she did not care, and she said that she was going to go and bury Polyneicces anyway. Episode 1 - The Sentry has told Creon that someone has buried Polyneices, and Creon is not very happy. They are not sure who has done it though. Creon thinks that it was somone from a group of people that barely abides by his rules, but I am sure that they will soon find out it was Antigone. I think that they will be really surprised to find out that Antigone buried Polyneices, especially because they don't even think that a man would have the courage to do that. As the Leader said, "No man is mad enough to welcome death."( episode 1, pg. 200) I am scared for Antigone. I told her not to do it, but she didn't listen. Episode 2 - Creon has just found out that Antigone was the one who buried Polyneices. The Sentry went back to the spot where the body was and saw Antigone cover the body with soil again. So he brought her to Creon, and as she said, she did not deny a thing. Antigone came right out and said that it was indeed her, and in return, Creon said that she would be penalized even though she was a relative, and then went on to blame me for the crime as well. I was brought in by a guard and when Creon asked if I took part in the crime, I said yes. Antigone did not like this at all, and said that I had nothing to do with the burying. I said, "Sister, do not scorn me; let me share your death and holy homage to the dead," (episode 2, pg 215) but she said it was too late, that I was already on Creon's side. Before, I wanted no part in this burying, but I have changed my mind, I want to help now. I am afraid it is too late though, Antigone won't let me take part and now is going to be killed.Episode 3
After talking to my sister Antigone, i saw Creon, Haemon, and the leader talking. As i passed by Creon was talking to his son Haemon. I think they were talking about my sisters upcoming stoning because Haemon was Antigone's feonce. Haemon was furious with his father. All i could hear Creon say was that his decision must stay for the good of Thebes. Heamon was giving his father so much trouble with all of this fighting and arguing. I hope that he is able to get though to Creon to keep his wife to be safe. The last thing that i have ever heard Haemon say was that "she shall not die-don't think it-in my sight or by my side. And you shall never see my face again. I commit you raving ti your chosen friends."(Ep 3, pg 226)
Episode 4
I went to visit my sister for the last time today. As I walked into the camber of were my sister was being held i over heard an Argument going on with Antigone, the leader, and the king. Creon was telling my sister that even though she is dying soon there was no guilt he had for her death. He keep telling her that a person dies and a person is born. The strange thing that happened towards when Creon was leaving the holding area one of the last things he told her was that "A husband is lost, and another can be found. A child replaced but once a brother's lost no other brother can be born or grows again." (Ep 4 pg 232) I wonder if Creon will actually change his mind about all of this. Well I really hope he does I cannot lose my sister.
Epidsode 5, epilogue:A messenger has just braught the news to say that Haemon has killed himself, because of his father, Creons Decree and wish to kill his love, my sister. Eurydice, Haemons mother has killed herself and everything is going wrong. why cant everyone just stop this madness and killing we are all family why cant we act like one? i need to know that my sister is alright, and if she is killed i dont know what i will do without her.
Episode 6, My dear sister has been inpressioned by our uncle the king i cannot believe these horrible things that are happening, i hope Haemon her love will have the sense to go find her and save her. i can only hope that things end well, iwish i could say the same for my brothers lives. i want my sister to live.
Episode 7, Everything has come to an end, not in the way any of us had expected it to be. im sorry to say that most are dead my only wish now is that my borthers, mother and father take care of my sister aswell as she had taken care of them and as for me i will be with them soon enough. And as for my uncle Creon i hope that he has learned a great lesson after all this. if only i had stood up for what was right in the beggining and faught for my family and thier beliefs than i would still have my sister here with me today and she would be living a happy life with Haemon. Rest In Peace
